Loretta Marie (Pendergast) Rose Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Marie (Pendergast) Rose (Torbay, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Loretta may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Loretta touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Rosalind, Frankie, Craig and Kevin; her parents-in-law, Bob Rose and Christine Rose; and her mother Florence.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Caul's Chapel (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Pendergast's Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Bell Island, or to the Janeway Foundation (for all the "sweet baby angels").
