She was predeceased by: her parents, William Crotty and Madeline Crotty (Flynn); her husband Patrick Barron; and her sisters, Shirley Blair, Carmel McComber and Elizabeth Crotty.
She is survived by: her sons, Terry (Valerie) and Michael (Sandra Burke); her granddaughters, Sarah Barron (Chris Coady) and Emma Barron (Takuma Shimada); her great grandchildren, Oliver Coady and Hana Shimada; and her siblings, Madeline Wills (Jack) of Texas and Edward Crotty (Patsy) of Ontario. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Lorraine's memory may be made to the Health Care Foundation NL – Dr. L. A. Miller Centre Palliative Care Program or the Community Paramedicine Team.
