She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Follett and Henry Follett; her brother Charlie Follett; and her sister-in-law Theresa Follett. She is survived by: her husband Gary Hand; her sons, Rod Hand (Chrissy) and Trevor Hand (Lisa); her grandchildren, Janessa, Allena, Natalie, Carter, Aaron and Olivea; her great grandchildren, Lucy and Arlo; her brother Robert Follett; her sibling's children, Ed, Terry, Bobby, Judy and Ken Follett; her close friend Sydney Rodway; Kelly Downey, Jaida Pike (Lorraine) and Justin Delaney (Kailey).
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Teresa's Church (120 Mundy Pond Rd, St. John's, NL A1E1W6).
As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Lorraine's memory may be made to the SPCA.
