With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Madeline Maria Kavanagh (Torbay, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her husband Christopher Kavanagh; her parents, Catherine Rodgers and Thomas Rodgers; and her siblings, Jim Rodgers, Gertrude Delaney, Johanna Oliver, Genevieve MacDonald, Bess Murrin and Margaret Preston.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Facetime; and her children, Don (Paula), Joe (Sandy), Chris (Colleen), Ray (Jackie), Mary Lou (Keith) and Stephen (Rosalind).
During the COVID-19 pandemic, mom successfully learned how to navigate her granddaughter's iPad to Facetime with family members while in lockdown.
Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Madeline's memory may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto in Flatrock, Canadian Diabetes Association, or a charity of one's choice.
