She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" O'Toole; her parents, William Jordan and Annie Jordan; her grandson RJ Puddicombe; and her siblings, Alice Kelly and Toole.

She is survived by: her children, Bernadette (George), John and Terry (Lynn); her grandchildren, Stephanie (Brian), Wayne (Morgan), Terrilynne (Zach), Jodi (Alexander) and Morgan; her great grandchildren, Aimee, Kayleigh and Aria; and her siblings, Gus (Florence), Geraldine (Richard) and Kay.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bessie's memory to the Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Centre or to a charity of one's choice.
