It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Owen Berkley Brown (Torbay, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Owen Berkley Brown to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, May Brown and Jacob Brown; his former life partner Priscilla; his son Robert; and his siblings, Lloyd, Melvin, Earl, Gord, Doris Brown, Annie Pearl Decker (late George) and Julie Gallihue.

He is survived by : his wife Anne Benson; his son Kirk (Eileen); his grandsons, Benjamin and Kyle; his son Mike (Karen); his grandson Kieran; his siblings, Eric (late May), George (Margaret), Stirling (Barbara), Eileen (Corb), Monnie (Max) and Diane (late Dave); his siblings-in-law, Neva Brown (late Gord), Vince Gallihue (late Julie), Elizabeth and Chris Belbin; and his family, Dr. David Brentnall and Dr. Fardy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Good Samaritan (10 St Clare Ave, St. John's, NL A1C6N4).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Owen's memory to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Care Foundation, The Church of the Good Samaritan Guatemala Project or to a charity of one's choice.
