She was predeceased by : her parents, Isabel Sampson and Bill Sampson. She is survived by : her children, Christine (Brad), Christopher and Brandon; the father of her children Chris Tizzard; her grandson Jack; her siblings, Debbie (Dave), Sandra (Paul), Wally (Kathleen), Billy (Nacole) and G. J. (Brenda); her godmother Sandra Webber; her godson Chad Cuff; her close friends, Cathy Hollahan, Bonnie Gosse and Karen Dahle; and her friends, Coralee King and Michelle Lucas. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Renée's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one's choice.
