He was predeceased by: his wife Noeleen; his daughter Eileen Babb; and his parents, Michael Flynn and Mary Flynn. He is survived by: his sister Eileen Flynn; his children, Richard (Karen) of Defiance, Missouri and Jeannie Winsor (Gerald) of Torbay; his son-in-law Norman Babb of St. John's; his grandchildren, Nicole, Elizabeth, Sinead, Caitlyn, Connor and Keara; his great grandchild William; and his parents-in-law, Maeve Lynch (Dublin), Jean and Liam Nolan (Waterford).
