It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Frederick Wallis (Torbay, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Robert's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Robert's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cahill Wallis and Ellen Josephine Brennan; and his half-brothers, William Frost and Monsignor John Wallis. He is survived by: his wife Carolann Wallis; his sister Joan Woodrow (James); his nieces, Megan Woodrow-Ryall (Robert), Erin Woodrow (Jon Slaney) and Shannon Woodrow (Matthew Winnett); his brothers, John Anderson (Mary), Bob Anderson and Bill Anderson (Debbie); and his close friend Gus Lilly. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Caul's Chapel (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8).
