He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; his parents, John Costello and Kathleen Costello; his parents-in-law, Frank and Annie Groves; his sister Joan Costello; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Groves (Mary), Violet McDonald (Dermott) and Margaret Pippy (William).

He is survived by: his children, Glenn (Shari), Christopher (Sheryl) and Jillian (Ryan); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Ryan Costello, Taylor, Amy Costello, Grady and Drue Roberts; his siblings, Judy Soulier (Bob), Noel Costello (Lynda) and Sharron O'Toole (Bill); and his aunt Joan Lewis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
