He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph d'Eon and Evelina d'Entremont; his wife Frances Duguay; and his siblings, Father Harland d'Eon and Zelma d'Deon Sharpe.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Deon (Judy Deon) of Nelson, BC and Jennifer Deon (Dave Walsh); his grandchildren, John Deon-Walsh of St. John's, NL, Jonathan Deon (Erin Weech) of Victoria, BC and Alison Deon (Jeff Geddis); his great grandchildren, Gwendolyn and Grace of Toronto, ON; and his sisters, Sylvia Martell (Pubnico) and Anne Vitaline Blondeau (Montreal). He is also survived by many nephews and nieces and cousins.
