It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terry Sanford (Torbay, Newfoundland), who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Loretta Sanford (Shea); his brother Peter; and his parents, Alfred William and Winnifred Sanford. He is survived by: his children, Eileen Loucka (Paul), Lisa Sanford Craig (Ross) and Alfred Sanford (Robyn Ronayne); his grandchildren, Tyler (Kathryn), Josh Hancock (Victoria), Elliot, Nora and Theodore Sanford; his great grandchild Madelyn Hancock; his niece Mary King; and his close friend John Watson.
Flowers graciously accepted or a donation may be made to the Torbay Volunteer Fire Department; an organization that has always been important to the Sanford family.
