He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Power and Marjorie Power; his wife Louise; his parents-in-law, Michael and Sarah Murphy; and his siblings, Ronald, Kevin and Kathleen Coady (Bert).
He is survived by: his close friend Joan; his children, David (Jacqueline), Sharon Carew (Wayne), Debbie Strickland (Greg), Jen Maynard (Jim), Thomas (Laurie) and Michelle Mugford (Blair); his extended family, Linda Warr (Norman), Frankie Walsh (Michael), Thomas Syster and Ted Alston (Jill); his brothers, Edward (Beth) and David (Cindy); and his siblings-in-law, James Murphy (Florence), Ruth Power and Eileen Murphy. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren and a very large circle of nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to School Lunch Programs or Emmaus House.
