He was predeceased by: his brother Ronnie Smith; and his father-in-law Shawn Brinston. He is survived by: his significant other Shawna Brinston; his mother Debbie Smith (Tim); his brother Steven (Meaghan); his mother-in-law JoAnne Brinston; his son Liam; his father Todd Paul; and his pet Sophie.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A graveside service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
