Winnifred Josephine Crocker Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Winnifred Josephine Crocker (Torbay, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence Crocker (Lar); her siblings, Tom, Joe (Ollie), Steve (Mary), Mary Lahey, Florence Hawco, Kathleen Martin (Leo), Elizabeth Gatherall (Jack), Marion St. George (Jack), Eileen Hawco and Josephine Sheppard (Hal); and her siblings-in-law, Alex Crocker, Mary Carr, Margaret Brace and Laura Aitken.
She is survived by: her aunt Winnie Crocker; her close friend Dianne Hawco; and her nephew Steve. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the St. Teresa's (110 Mundy Pond Rd, St. John's, NL A1E1W6).
No flowers, by request, due to serious allergy in the family. Donations can be made to The Gathering Place or charity of choice.
