He was predeceased by : his parents, Allan Sr. Young and Mary Young; his wife Marie; his sister Olive Janes; and his brother-in-law Roger Janes.

He is survived by : his daughters, Doreen Dalley (Dennis), Linda Murray (Sean) and Susan Rooney (Jeff); his grandchildren, John Dalley (Dawn), Sarah Gale (Larry), Zack and Hannah Rooney; his great grandchildren, Brooke, Dylan and Brandon; his siblings-in-law, John Hamlyn, Wilson Hamlyn, Ruth Burton, Geraldine Hamlyn, Alberta Hamlyn, Jean Hawkins, May Young, Shirley LeClerc and Rebecca Hamlyn; and his close friends, Eileen, Gerald Loveridge, Calvin Waterman, Hoover Brown, Winston and Wavey Cutler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended relatives and friends.

In light of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority.

Donations in Allan's honor may be given to the Twillingate Food Bank or the Twillingate Volunteer Fire Department.
