He is survived by: his children, Gail Mitchell (Clarence) and Craig (Judy); his grandchildren, Bobby (Renee), Jill Briffett (Stephen) and Jayna; his great grandchildren, Hayden, Jackson, Quinn and Mitchell; and his brother-in-law Albert Burton.
Donations in Bert's memory may be given to the Twillingate Volunteer Fire Department.
