It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hettie L. Guy (Twillingate, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 16, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Dove and Minnie Dove; her husband Ernest; her son-in-law Jack Lambert; and her siblings, Joyce Sharpe, Doris Stockley, Frances Sharpe, Ruth Anstey, Ruby Gilbert, Bernice Hillier, Cyril, Winston and Chesley.

She is survived by : her children, Beryl Lambert, John "Jack" (Verna) and Gary (Sheila); her grandchildren, Graham (Lee), Guy Valerie (Terry), Corina (Vaughn), Robert (Krista) and David (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Abigail, Samuel, Carter, Preston, Victoria, Lilliana and Conor; and her brother Clayton Dove. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Donations in Hettie's memory may be given to the United Church Cemetery Fund, North Side.

“Hettie will be sadly missed by members of the Edwin Colbourne family, Hettie, more familiar to me (Arthur) as Hettie Dove was a young girl "in service" to our family in the early 1940's. She is a treasure who will never be forgotten and who loved me as her own. She told me so many times. In recent years, my wife Myra and I visited Hettie at her home in Twillingate and sat with her and reminisced about years gone by. Thanks Hettie. You will always be remembered and loved.
