In loving memory of Hilda Mary Rideout-Mehaney in Twillingate, Newfoundland, who departed this world on October 30, 2025 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Watkins and Kate Watkins (Wallace Rideout); and her siblings, Sandy (Dolly), Harold (Leona), Pearl and Muriel (Reg).
She is survived by: her husband Don; her children, Brian (Jenny), Gloria (Ernie), Shirley (Lewis), Marvin (Barbie), Beverley (Randy) and Eugene (Tina); and her extended family, Gary (Shelia), John (Nicole), Beverley (Rick) and Roxanne (Bob). She is also survived by her thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Isles Funeral Home (P O Box 189, Twillingate, NL A0G0B7). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the The Salvation Army Twillingate Bayview Corps. (81 Ravalia Way, Twillingate, NL A0G4M0).
Donations in Hilda's memory may be given to Operation Smile Canada.
