She was predeceased by : her parents, Edwin Rideout and Katherine Rideout; her husband Samuel; her sons, Bert and Eli Samuel; her grandson Christopher Young; and her siblings, Ernest, Jim (Ina), Frank and Marion Simmons (Woodrow).

She is survived by : her daughter Eleanor Young (Doug); her daughter-in-law Sheila; her grandchildren, Tracey (Craig), Craig, Scott (Sherri), Kelly (Mark) and Catherine (Brian); her great grandchildren, Tylor, Devon, Abbey and Beckett; her niece Kay Duffeney; and also, Kathy, Preston, Colby, Jane, Kate, Tavish and William. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.

In light of the current Covid-19 restrictions, the health and safety of our families and our community continues to be our highest priority.

Donations in Ida's memory may be given to the St. Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund.
