With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janesta Hamlyn (Twillingate, Newfoundland), who passed away on February 25, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Murdock Jenkins and Rowena Jenkins; her sisters, Jane Ball and Christine Wells; and her siblings-in-law, Joyce Gillard and Roy Weir (Bruce Hamlyn).
She is survived by: her sons, Jason (Vanessa Montgomery) and Wade Hamlyn (Kathy); her grandson Scott Monthomery; her siblings, Melinda (Willie), Lorraine, Doreen, Terry (Dolly), Randy (Patty) and Jonathan; and her siblings' children, Sharon (Perry), Mackenzie (Jordan) and Shawn (Walter).
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 1st 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Isles Funeral Home (2 Whitehorns Hill, Twillingate, NL A0G2R0). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
