With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janice Yvonne Mitchell (Twillingate, Newfoundland), born in Port Hope Simpson, Newfoundland, who passed away on February 26, 2022 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by : her parents, Fraser Blake (Harvey "Brud") and Rachel Blake; and her siblings, Angus, Glosson, Ruby, Daisy and Cavell.

She is survived by : her husband Harvey "Brud" Mitchell; her children, Danny (Sherry), Glenn (Paula), Lee (Michelle) and Jo-Ann; her grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah, Kathryn, Daniel, Joelle, Chloe and Bridgette; her great grandchildren, Owen, Adaline, Briella and Theo; and her siblings, Inez (Maxwell), Irene, Shirley (Albert) and Marie (Everett). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.

Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Janice's memory may be given to the Alzheimer's society.
