Joan Sharpe Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Sharpe (Twillingate, Newfoundland), who passed away on May 14, 2025. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Sharpe to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Anstey and Mary Anstey (Lester Sharpe); and her sons, Thomas and Barry. She is survived by: her children, Alexander Anstey (Geraldine), Belinda Compton (Roy Blandford), Rowena Sharpe, Brian "Bruce" Sharpe and Jennifer Sharpe (Robert Carpenter); her daughter-in-law Sue Bishopric; her grandchildren, Gregory, Amanda, Nathan (Samantha), Jamie (Evan), Shayna (Kirk), Jessica, Stephen, Allison, Barry Jr. "BJ", Justin (Sonia), Colby, Kylan and Kaleb; her great grandchildren, Hayes, Madden, Phillip, Jacob and Owen; and her sister-in-law Mary Sharpe. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Donations in Joan's memory may be given to the St. Peter's Anglican Church, Twillingate.
