Margaret Jean Burton Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on October 30, 2023, at the age of 87, Margaret Jean Burton (Twillingate, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonathon Pippy and Elizabeth Pippy; her husband Larry Burton of Hart's Cove; her siblings, Wilbur Pippy (Mary), Victor Pippy (Dollie), Roy Pippy (Ruth), Mildred Vineham (Stanley), Maymie Earle (Samuel) and Madeline Martin (Gordon); and her siblings-in-law, Mark, Gordon Burton and Edna Reid (Eli).

She is survived by: her daughters, Beverley Hamlyn (Victor) and Gay Rogers (Scott); her grandsons, Sheldon (Ann), Mark (Valerie) and Jake (Simone); her great grandchildren, Luke, Jake, Zachary, Adelyn and Jenae; her sisters-in-law, Ruby Burton and Ruth Burton; and her friend Mary Philpott. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Donations in Margie's memory may be given to The Hospital Pond Community Garden, Twillingate.
