He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Hopkins and Olive Hopkins; his grandson Robert Oake; his siblings, Joan and Loxley; and his brother-in-law Hardy Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Patsy (Wayne) and Lee (Melanie); his grandchildren, Megan (Tanner), Kyle, Tyler and Rylie; his great grandchildren, Holden, William and Julian; his great great grandchild Noah; his siblings, Joyce (Ralph), Irene (Allister) and Hardy (Rita); and his sister-in-law Nina. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
