He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Smith and Alma Smith (Gertie); and his son Jeffery Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Garry (Kelly) and Tony (Terrilynn); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kyle, Nathan and Noah; and his sister Rose (Randy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Donations in Wayne's memory may be given to the Calvary Pentecostal Cemetery Fund, Twillingate, NL.
