Eldon Emberley Obituary

It is with sadness that the passing of Eldon Emberley of Upper Gullies, Newfoundland is shared. Eldon passed away on September 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Emberley and Mahalla Emberley of Bay de Verde; his wife Marguerite; and his sister Maxine. He is survived by: his sons, Dale of Dawson Creek and Dion of St. John's; his siblings, William (Daphne), Sadie (Bill), Glenis (Ern) and Beulah (Clarence); his grandchildren, Xavier and Ariana; and his brother-in-law Lloyd. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and members of the Doyle family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hopkins' Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hopkins' Funeral Home Chapel, Old Perlican.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Eldon's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, a charity he held close to his heart.
