He was predeceased by : his wife Isabella Jewer; his daughter Claudine; his parents, Henry Jewer and Sadie Jewer; his son-in-law Reginald Barrett; his parents-in-law, Alfred and Isabella Adams; and his siblings-in-law, Alfreda Jewer, Will Coombs Olga Adams (George), Selby (Ella), Flora (Albert), Lizzie (Henry) and Marjorie (Graham).

He is survived by : his children, Shirley Barrett, Joyce Jewer-Clarke (Ron Singleton), Eric Jewer (Maxine Peddle) and Paul Jewer (Lorraine); his grandchildren, Danny (Nancy), Pamela (Johnny), Robin (Laura Lee), Rhonda (Craig), Joanne (Gord), Cory (Joanne), Christopher Erica (Cory) and Adam; his siblings, Florence Jewer, Harry Jewer and Clayton (Bernice); his sister-in-law Lucy Jewer; and his siblings, Joyce Bishop (Harry), Jack Jewer, Wallace Jewer (Susie), Helen Mercer (Tom), Howard and Phyllis (Richard). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
