He was predeceased by: his parents, David Coombs and Florence Coombs. He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Kimberley Walsh (Geoffrey) and Justin Coombs (Tammy); his grandchildren, Liam, Ava, Elizabeth and Ronan; his siblings, Gladys Lynch, Verdon Coombs, Gloria Brown, Alice Smith (Lorne) and Lorna Pike (Randell); his siblings-in-law, Phil Noseworthy, Donna Oickle (Ron), Bruce Noseworthy (Carolyn), Elvis Noseworthy (Rita), Bill Noseworthy, Howard Noseworthy and Don Noseworthy (Vicky); his son Trevor; his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Elizabeth Noseworthy; his sister Cynthia Lynch (Ambrose); and his siblings-in-law, Hayward Lynch, Cynthia Coombs, Laurence Tucker, Ross Noseworthy and Harold Brown. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
A reception was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Slade's Funeral Home (432 Cranes Rd, Upper Island Cove, NL A0A 4E0). A prayer was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in his loving memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
