With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet Mercer of Upper Island Cove, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 11, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Gordon Mercer; her parents, Mose Drover and Mary Drover; her sisters, Emma Sharpe and Gertie Drover; and her stepsiblings, Lawrence Lynch, George Lynch, Levi Lynch, Henley Lynch, Doris Lynch and Eliza Sheppard.

She is survived by : her daughters, Yvonne O'Toole (Pat) and Donna Lewis (Darryl); her granddaughters, Breanne O'Toole and Hannah Lewis; her sisters-in-law, Mary Roberts, Hazel Mercer and Kay Mercer; her stepbrother Melvin Lynch; her close friend Louise Drover; and her siblings-in-law, Olive Mercer, Gwennie Mercer, Isabel Lynch, George Roberts, Alton Mercer, George Lynch, Ralph Mercer, James Mercer, Aubrey Mercer and Edward Mercer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
