We bid farewell to John Maxwell Lynch of Upper Island Cove, Newfoundland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 30, 2024 at the age of 81. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by : his father George (Flora Lynch); his siblings, Eric Lynch and Margaret Hussey; and his parents-in-law, William and Mae Strickland.
He is survived by : his wife Frances; his children, Robert (Wiwin) and Cindy (Derek); his grandchildren, Noelle, Kristen, Melanie (Robbie) and Derek John (Ashley); his sisters, Marina Crane (Edward) and Myra Byrne (Wayne); his siblings-in-law, Rendell Hussey, Elaine Lynch, Jack Strickland (Liz), Lorraine Neil (Alan) and Jacqueline Donovan (Jim); his aunt Freda Mercer; his pet Molly; and his close friends, John Butt (Shirley), Bob Parsons (Mary), Howard Smith (Marilyn) and Long Hill. He is also survived by his grandchildren, family & friends.
In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy donations may be made in his loving memory to the Shriners Patient transportation Funds.
