He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Martha Sharpe; his sons, Jarrod (Charmaine) and Robert (Erika); his pets, Bella, Diamond and Ryder; his mother Annie; his brother Paul (Frances); his siblings-in-law, Pauline Sharpe, James Forward (Grace), Pearle Barnes (Clarence), Myres Forward (Georgie), Patsy Yetman (Lloyd), Peggy Case (Lorne) and Maureen Forward; his nephews, Darryl Sharpe (Lori), Darren Sharpe (Bobbie Jo) and Todd (Christopher); his niece Renee Sharpe (Darren); his father Ambrose Sharpe; his brother Harry Sharpe; his parents-in-law, James and Sybil Forward; and his brother-in-law Garfield Forward.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his loving memory to the CLB, Upper Island Cove or to St. Peter's Anglican Church, Upper Island Cove.
