He was predeceased by: his father John Lynch; and his parents-in-law, Harvey and Bessie Pye The. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his sons, Scotty and Kenneth; his mother Dot; his siblings, Shane, Shawn and Noelle (Stephen); his siblings-in-law, Connie (Eugene), Harvey (Theresa) and Iona (Steve); and his nieces and nephews, Ava, Elaine (Brandon), Faith, Kenny, Jay, Leeland, Sharon and Lilyana.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Scott R. Lynch Memorial Fund.
