With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susie Milley (Western Bay, Newfoundland), who passed away on October 19, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Thomas; her son Eldred Bruce; her parents, James Slade and Maisie Slade; and her siblings, Ethel Peddle, David, George and John Slade.
She is survived by : her daughters, Valerie Stratton (Wayne) and Kim Larose (Mike) of Dartmouth, NS; her grandchildren, Vanessa (Andrew), Gregory (Paula), Brianna and Alyssa; her great grandchildren, Carter, Dominic, Kennedy, Jordyn, Jakob, Drew, Logan and Liam; her sisters, Cicely Pretty and Maisie Ricks; and her siblings-in-law, Hilda Slade, Jane George, Vivian Slade and Mervin Milley (Margaret).
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Burnt Point.
