Pansey Sophia Coates Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pansey Sophia Coates (Wings Point, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben LeDrew and Mary LeDrew (Peckford); her husband Roy Coates; her siblings, Malcolm, Nelson, Rosie and Joyce; her grandson Brent Neville; her nephews, Rayfield and Eric Francis; her niece Daisey LeDrew; her parents-in-law, Lewis and Emma Coates; and her siblings-in-law, Dulcie Fancey (Wilson), Marjorie LeDrew, Claude Francis, Don and Albert Coates.

She is survived by: her children, Guy LeDrew (Joyce), Sadie Allen (Dave), Aleta Neville (Rick), Evelyn Verge (Randy), Gary (Marilyn), Marilyn Fancey (Derrick), Ross (Eileen) and Dean (Christine); and her sisters-in-law, Cavell Coates and Beatrice Rose Troke. She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
