Carol Wiscombe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Wiscombe of Winterland, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 18, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph and Ida Kirby (Roy Brett); her stepdaughter Joyce Myers; her brother-in-law Frank Beasley A; and her caregivers, Brenda Simms and Verna Vardy.
She is survived by: her children, David Brett (Jennifer) and Donna Rouselle (David); her grandchildren, Adam Rouselle (Stephanie), Holly Calver (Colin) and Sarah Brett; her great grandchild Isla Calver; her sisters, Rebecca Beasley and Ida Hollett (Charles); her extended family, Albert Wiscombe (Regina), Glen Wiscombe (Linsey), Dave Wiscombe (Peggy), Baxter Rose (Beverly) and Chelsey Rose (Bertha); her son-in-law Clarence Myers; her great-nieces, Rebecca and Robyn Hollett; and her nephews, Roy Hollett (Patricia), Derrick Hollett (Amanda), Joseph Beasley (Ashley) and Rodney Beasley (Tammy). She is also survived by relatives, and a large circle of friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Home - Burin (95 Main St, Burin Bay Arm, NL A0E 1G0). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Serenity Chapel (95 Main St, Burin Bay Arm, NL A0E 1G0). A burial was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at the Grace United Cemetery.
