Winston Carl Decker Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Decker and Stella Decker; his wife Nina; his brother Harold; his daughter-in-law Wilhelmina Decker; and his parents-in-law, Dorman and Rosie Mitchell.

He is survived by: his children, Helen Hobbs (Everett), Gloria Mitchell (Rex), Jeanette Regular (Scott), Joanne Packwood (Morris), Wayne Decker (Arlene), Derick Decker, Glen Decker (Arlene) and Jasper Decker (Sylvia); his siblings, Gary, Joe, Boyd, Ted, Kay, Sharon, Judy, Janice, Ann and Jackie; and his siblings-in-law, Goldie, Maisie, Lola, Myrtle, Linda, Dennis and Larry. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (22 Main St, Baie Verte, NL A0K1B0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Winston's memory to the New United Church Cemetery Fund, Woodstock, NL.
