He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Mitchell and Peter Mitchell; his daughter Della Mitchell; his grandson Peter F. Mitchell; his stepmother Caroline Mitchell; his siblings, Ralph Mitchell and Blanche Regular; and his parents-in-law, Cluney and Blanche Andrews.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Andrews; his children, Albert (Roxanne), Francis (Lisa), Gail (Gary), Lawrence (Norma), Goldie (Scott) and June (Alonzo); and his niece Margaret Randell.
