He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walker and Genevieve Walker of Alder Point; and his siblings, Helene, Gib, Vince, Richard and James Adrian.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Kim (Doug McNeil), Lynn (Kevin Mercer) and Todd (Tammy Boutilier); his grandchildren, Shannon, Mitchell, Taylor, Brooklyn and Tristan; his siblings, Kenny (Heidi), Sheldon, Gordon (Barbara), Donnie (Sandy), Gerard (Susan), Pius (Debbie), Greg (Joanne), Anne Larade (Bob), Joan, Betty Graham (Brad), Norma Marsh (Lou), Carol Vickers (Johnny MacNeil) and Vicky Taylor (Jimmy); and his uncle Johnny. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Leonard's memory may be made to VON Cape Breton or Hospice Palliative Care Society.
