He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Atkinson and Mildred Atkinson (Neiforth); his wife Joyce (Brooks); his daughter Jennifer; and his siblings, Kenny, Bill, Ernest and Eva Reid.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Henneberry (Chris), Shannon (Josh), Roger (Rose) and Mike of Truemanville; his grandchildren, Mark Henneberry (Shawna), Natalie Butler (Aaron), Nicholas Henneberry (Justine Fines), Jessica Lines (Craig), Hillary Brown, Taylor Atkinson (Heidi), Chelsea, Sienna Atkinson, Grady and Finn Littlefield; and his great grandchildren, Daphne, Sam Henneberry, Leah, Gage Butler, Oliver, Watson Henneberry, Ellie, Emmett Lines, Brooks Brown, Edie and Stevie Atkinson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Campbell's Funeral Home (98 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B4). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Donations can be made in Aubrey's memory to the Truemanville Cemetery Society or to the East Cumberland Lodge.
