He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Sauveur and Audrey Sauveur (Doucet); the mother of his children Florence (Welch); his grandson Adam Bowser; and his siblings, Charlie, Eddie, Paul and Carmel.

He is survived by: his wife Yvonne (Grady); his children, Danny of Amherst, NS, Teena Bowser (Peter) of Amherst, NS and Peggy Johnson (Doug) of Brampton, ON; his grandchildren, Laura, Matthew, Amy, Daniel, Renee and Reanne; his great grandchild Hayden; his siblings, Art (Gloria), Ducky (Pam), Pat Robinson (Ron), Betty Nelson and Rosie Doucette; and his close friend Sandra. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
