He was predeceased by : his parents, Orel Richard and Rose Richard; his former life partner Anne O'Brien; and his siblings, Ronald "Bud", David and Melissa Wolfe.
He is survived by : his wife Sheila of Amherst; his son Bernell (Mary May) of Cheticamp, NS; his stepchildren, Brian Ripley (Terri), Howard Ripley (Sandra), Susan Ripley Girard (Serge) of Deep River, ON, Glendon Ripley (Debbie) and Fenwick; his grandson Brandon; and his sister Delores McNeil. He is also survived by seven step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren.
