It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bertha Madeline Smith of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Ralston" Willigar and Rhoda Willigar (Bennett); and her brothers, Byron and Brian. She is survived by: her son Jamie (Tammie); her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Hunter, Madison and Keegan; and her siblings, Freda Estabrooks, Carol Lirette (Gerry), Wanda Rushton, David Willigar and Donnie Willigar. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
