She was predeceased by: her father Roy Atkinson; and her brother Daniel Atkinson. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Charles MacDonald; her sons, Noah (Melissa Milner), Caleb and Aidan; her mother Shirley Atkinson; her pets, Oakley and Nala; her siblings, Debby Overdulve (David), Susan Jenkins, Karen Miller (Kevin), Richard Atkinson (Carla) and Beth Selig (Bob); and her friend Gayle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Amherst Fire Hall (62 Albion St, Amherst, NS B4H2W1).
