He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Garnet Chase and Mildred Alice Barnes (Redden); and his son-in-law David William Jones. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Ann Chase (White); his children, Michael (Cory) and Teri; his sister Beverlee Langille (Dave); and his grandchildren, Taylor, Myles, Alexander and Arianna. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
