She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred King and Belden King. She is survived by: her children, Debra (Bernie DeGagné), Tammy (Kenny Arseneau), Mark (Nancy Childs), Pamela (Steve Bryson) and Robert; her husband Robert E. Childs; her grandchildren, André, Jean-Luc, David, Benoit DeGagné, Bethany Edwards, Christopher, Julie Arseneau, Caliegh Childs, Jessi Swartzentruber, Sohphee Childs, Sarah, Shane, Jeff, Kevin Bryson, Chelsea Winters and Cody Childs; her family, Brandon, Lanaya Dupuis, Kyler Edwards, Hayden Ferdinand, Colt, Nico, Isolde, Thedore DeGagné, Évelyn DeGagné, Réal DeGagné, Mea Wilson, Jasmine Polliet, MaKenziey Smith, Sam Crane, Bomi, Lumi Je, Ellie, Clara, Ava, Loughlan Swartzentruber, Daniel, Kayla, Brooke Bryson, Leah and Abby Simpson; and her brother Gordon King. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the First Baptist Church (90 Victoria St E, Amherst, NS B4H1X6).
