We are sad to announce that on February 28, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Doreen Jessie Hurley (Amherst, Nova Scotia). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gates and Cora Gates (Miller); her husband James Edwin; and her siblings, Annie, Vera, Arthur, Henry and Harold (Huck).
She is survived by: her children, Sheree McEachern (Stephen), Rose McEachern (Rick), Janet Hoeg (Jan), Edwin Hurley (Lucille), Pam Hoeg (Terry), Laurie Hurley (Sherry) and Tim Hurley (Stephanie); and her siblings, Cora Mae Hoeg, Margie White and James Gates. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Jones Family Funeral Centre (70 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B2).
