He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmore Gay and Gladys Gay (Weatherbee); his son Jeffrey Gay; and his brothers, Cecil, Vaughn and Dale "Beaver".
He is survived by : his girlfriend Kathy MacPhee; his children, Jennifer Veno and Jeremy Gay; his girlfriend's children, Ashley MacPhee, Renee MacPhee, Stacy Gargin (Joey) and Tim MacPhee (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Landon, Braydon, Presley, Brady, Kyler, Samara, Tristan, Mason, Eli and Skarlett; his great-nephew Reese; and his siblings, Georgie Weatherbee, Dot Smith (Bill), Phyllis "Toots" Roberts (Peter), Miramichi, Beryl Atkinson (Philip), Amherst Head, Suzanne Campbell, Dawn MacLean (Bob), Sherry Gay (Ron), Carl Baxter (Sandy), Allen Bailey, Diane Gay (Doug) and Ricky Baxter (Linda). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and extended family.
