We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Duncan Lewis Carter of Amherst, Nova Scotia, born in River Philip, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Carter and Maie Carter (Rushton); his former life partner Elizabeth J. J. (Farrow); his son-in-law Barrie Steeves; and his siblings, Inez Sharpe (Harry), Dora Chapman (Eugene), Borden Carter, Leona Richards (Oakley), Trueman Carter, Elizbeth Strong, Hilda Canning, Gertie Higgins and Joyce St. Croix.

He is survived by : his wife Judy (Cormier); his children, Duncan Wayne, Byron (Cathy), Joanne Steeves and Steven (Carol); his stepchildren, Ronald Hunter (Norma) and Trudy Comeau (Paul); his grandchildren, Jeffrey, Melissa, Deana, Mandy, Justin, Joshua (Blaine), Charlotte and Serena; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Snow (Arthur). He is also survived by 6 step grandchildren; great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren.

Donations may be made in Duncan's memory to the Amherst Head Cemetery or to the Cumberland Cancer Assistance Fund.
