We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2024, at the age of 82, Eleanor Taylor of Amherst, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Mawdsley and Georgie Mawdsley (Ripley); her husband Gerald Taylor; her daughters, Sandra and Geraldine Taylor; her grandchildren, Jeffery Iverson and Sarah Patterson; and her siblings, Jim, Bill Mawdsley and May Benoit.

She is survived by : her daughters, Gwen (Brian) of Alberta, Donna (Scott) of Alberta, Barbara Thomas of Amherst, NS and Linda Gould (David) of Amherst; her grandchildren, Patricia Richard (Brian), Myra Langille (Blaine), Mitchell Patterson, Tiffany, Julie Pettigrew, Jennifer Taylor, Christopher Taylor-Thomas (Laura), Tasheena Thomas, Joshua (Christine) and Tonya Gould; and her brother Jack Mawdsley (Sandra). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Donations may be made in Nellie's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
